Less weight on the 2017 Ford Raptor for better performance

Even with the increased space that this body style offers, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew should weigh in at hundreds of pounds less than previous models, thanks to the use of door plates made of high-strength aluminum alloy, and a high-strength steel frame. This decreased weight allows the Raptor to be more maneuverable on and off the road, and make even better use of its enhanced engine output with the new 3.5-liter Ecoboost engine.

Specialty Performance Suspension and Chassis on the 2017 Ford Raptor

With a wider body, and a purpose-built fully boxed frame, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is built from the bones out to handle the toughest conditions. Premium accessories like FOX Racing Shox and larger front and rear shock canisters (up to 3 inches, from the previous 2.5 inches) allow the new Ford Raptor to handle rougher terrain without bottoming out or delivering an un-livable ride.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor in SuperCrew and SuperCab body styles will go on sale in fall of this year.
