Ford Mustang Expanding Its Global Reach
Every time a new model year rolls around, the new Ford Mustangs feature powerful and efficient engine choices, optimized handling that seems to always get smoother and more fun to drive and an expansive list of advanced new safety, technology, comfort and convenience features. It’s become sure a regular thing, we’ve started to take it for granted here in America, and now the rest of the world gets to enjoy it as well. More than 150,000 Mustangs were sold in 2016, with about 45,000 of those models being sold somewhere other than America. This international boost is thanks to the Mustang now being available in the world’s biggest auto market – China – as well as in places like Germany, New Caledonia, Gibraltar and Bonaire. And with more countries being added to the mix each year, the Mustang is only going to grow in popularity.
“The legacy of Mustang continues to grow, and in places it never reached before. We continue to make it available in new markets, and drivers in those markets continue to respond with resounding approval.” – Mark Schaller, Ford Mustang Marketing Manager
