Breaking Down the Three 2017 Ford Escape Trim Levels

There are three unique time levels for the 2017 Ford Escape – the Escape S, Escape SE and Escape Titanium. Each of the new Ford Escape trim models comes with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the 2017 Escape SE and 2017 Escape Titanium offer you the choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The base 2017 Escape S features a 2.5-liter i-VCT four-cylinder engine offering 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque while getting 21 city MPG and 29 highway MPG. The new Ford Escape SE and new Ford Escape Titanium feature the choice between two new EcoBoost engines. The first is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine offering 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque while getting 23 city MPG and 30 highway MPG when paired with front-wheel drive, and 22 city MPG and 28 highway MPG when paired with all-wheel drive. The other is a 2.0-liter twin-scroll EcoBoost engine offering 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque while getting 22 city MPG and 29 highway MPG when paired with front-wheel drive, and 20 city MPG and 27 highway MPG when paired with all-wheel drive.
