Will the 2021 Ford F-150 Have a V8?

Yes, the redesigned 2021 Ford F-150 carries over the same naturally aspirated 5.0-liter TI-VCT V8 engine found in the previous generation truck.  What’s more, that V8 engine has been enhanced to deliver 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque and also earns the F-150 truck its best-in-class maximum payload rating of 3,325 lbs. New Variable Displacement Engine technology allows the engine to shut off half of its cylinders in cases when full power is not needed.

What’s the Strongest F-150 Engine?

Believe it or not, the strongest engine in the lineup isn’t the red-blooded V8. The optional 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost® V6 puts the F-150 at the top of its game with a class-leading towing capacity of up to 13,200 lbs. The engine uses Ford’s port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system, a dual overhead cam design with variable intake/exhaust cam timing, and twin intercooler turbochargers for inspiring power on-demand.

What Engines Are Featured on the All-New F-150?

There are still six engine choices available on the 2021 Ford F-150. Past the standard 3.3-liter TI-VCT V6 engine, the new Ford F-150 can be upgraded with a 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost® V6, the 5.0-liter TI-VCT V8, a 3.0-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V6, a 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6, and a new class-exclusive 3.5-liter PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6.
