Advantages of the 2017 Ford Edge

The 2017 Ford Edge comes in four trim levels – the SE, SEL, Titanium and Sport. The new Edge also comes with the choice between three engines – a 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine that provides 280 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, a Twin-Scroll 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque and a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that pumps out 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. All new Edge trims come standard with power windows and door locks, Push-Button Start, 60/40 split fold-flat rear seats, climate control and either SYNC or SYNC 3. Standard safety features for all trim levels include a rearview camera, the Personal Safety System, side-impact airbags, Safety Canopy Side-Curtain Airbags with Rollover Sensors and the SOS Post-Crash Alert System.

The 2017 Nissan Murano comes in five trim levels – the S, SV, SL, Platinum and Midnight Edition. That might make it seem like more customization is available, but all 2017 Murano models feature a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine that provides 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. No other engine options are available. The feature list of the new Murano also pales in comparison to what’s listed for the new Ford Edge.
