For 2019, this fan favorite has been blessed with a myriad of upgrades from bumper to bumper. Keep reading to learn more about the 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 near Atlanta, GA and what new features Ford has in store for Shelby drivers.

For the 2019 model year, the GT350 is given a 5.2-liter V8 good for 526 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. Sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds, this V8 pairs with a 6-speed manual transmission. New for 2019, rev-matching technology is offered standard with the manual transmission. The rev-matching feature offers smooth downshifts and eliminates the need for heel-and-toe downshifting. Simply hold your right foot on the brake while depressing the clutch with your left, then pull the gear lever down to your desired lower gear. The system then handles the rest. If you prefer a tighter hold on the reins, this feature can be disabled easily through the central touchscreen. If cranking between gears isn’t your thing, an optional 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission will get you there.

2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 New Features

While the 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350 inherits much of its appearance of its 2018 predecessor, some subtle changes give the newer model away. The result of a series of wind-tunnel tests, the Shelby sports an updated grille opening which works in conjunction with the optimized rear spoiler for enhanced aerodynamic efficiency. That spoiler can also be equipped with an optional Gurney flap for increased downforce at high speeds. A new double 5-spoke wheel design replaces the previous 10-spoke design. Those wheels now support a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires as well. Featuring a tread pattern and compound specifically designed for the GT350, the new tires promise better acceleration, grip and braking

Ford pairs its tire-burning performance feature updates with the addition of two cool-toned exterior color options: Performance Blue and Velocity Blue. A new factory-painted stripe option now offers a more resilient alternative to the previous vinyl stripes.
