The all-new Terrain Management System that will be available on the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor allows the driver to select from a variety of pre-set driving modes that improve driving dynamics depending on conditions. Refined Transfer Case Performance

Also improving off-roading capability on the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be a new transfer case. This device, which handles the power distribution for the Raptor’s wheels, should combine the best features of versatile all-wheel drive with the reliable aspects of four-wheel drive. This transfer case should improve high and low speed traction in all kinds of on and off-road environments.

Improved engine on the 2017 Ford Raptor

The current Ford F-150 Raptor truck comes with a 6.2-liter V8 that produces 411 horsepower. The 3.5-liter Ecoboost that will come standard on the 2017 model promises to increase that horsepower number and do so with greater fuel efficiency. Along with all the other powertrain enhancements in place for the 2017 year, like a new 10-speed transmission, the new Raptor should set new standards for efficiency and performance.

Look for the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor and its awesome driving modes to arrive in Georgia sometime in fall 2016.
