Let’s figure out when and where the Children’s Christmas Parade is before we get to everything else that’s taking place along with the parade. The parade will kick off at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, at the intersection of Peachtree Street and 16th Street. The parade will head down Peachtree Street through the TV Zone at Peachtree and 11th Street before crossing the finish line at the intersection of Peachtree and 5th Street. The parade will feature floats, giant balloons, marching bands and so much more – including a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus, of course. And don’t worry if you can’t make it down there, as you can watch the parade live on WSB-TV Channel 2.

Breakfast with Santa

No one should enjoy a parade on an empty stomach. Luckily, there are two very special breakfasts taking place before the parade. One is Breakfast with Santa, which kicks off at 8:30 a.m. in the Four Seasons Atlanta Hotel. You’ll be treated to a buffet, plus Christmas crafts and a visit from the big guy himself. The other is the Smiles for the Season Breakfast, which is also at 8:30 a.m. the morning of the parade, only this one is at the Colony Square Atrium. This breakfast also features a buffet and Christmas crafts, though instead of Santa, you get to visit with other Christmas characters while enjoying a presentation by the Center for Puppetry Arts.
