For over 30 years, the Georgia Food Bank Association has been fighting hunger throughout the entire state thanks to the help of its seven regional food banks. The GFBA and its seven regional food banks are able to provide over 130 million pounds of food annually to its more than 2,000 non-profit food assistance partners in an effort to close the food gap and make sure everyone has enough to eat. The GFBA’s Atlanta branch is the Atlanta Community Food Bank, which is located at 732 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard. The ACFB itself teams with over 600 organizations such as food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers, to ensure no one is going hungry. But they can’t do it alone. To learn how to donate food, time, money and other daily necessities, just click on the link.
