2016 Ford F-150 Shelby Edition<\/h2>\n

One of the coolest things about being able to be at the Chicago Auto Show is getting to see specialty vehicles that don’t appear anywhere else. One of these is the F-150 Shelby by Tuscany. We were excited flat out by the use of the word “Shelby” which inevitably makes us think of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R performance car<\/a>. When we learned about\u00a0the basic and custom features of this truck we were not disappointed. Keep reading for information and images of the 2016 Ford F-150 Shelby Edition by Tuscany at the Chicago Auto Show.<\/p>\n

2016 Ford F-150 Shelby Powertrain and Towing<\/h3>\n

Tuscany’s Shelby edition of the F-150 is based on the 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat <\/a>with some optional equipment. It is outfitted with the 5.0-liter V8 engine and an electronic six-speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission with a Tow\/Haul mode. Up-fitted with a specialty Shelby-engineered supercharger, this powertrain is rated for 700 horsepower.<\/p>\n

The 2016 Ford F-150 Shelby Edition also features premium truck accessories like a Dual Intake Ram Air Shelby Super Snake Hood, a Shelby Tuned Borla Performance Exhaust system and the exclusive Shelby Engineered Fox Shock System. Also outfitted with the Ford Trailer Tow Package, this powerful vehicle is rated for a maximum trailer weight of 10,900 pounds and 2,100 pounds of payload and comes with Pro Trailer Backup Assist<\/a>.<\/p>\n

F-150 Shelby Interior and Safety Features<\/h3>\n

The interior of the 2016 Ford F-150 Shelby Edition is outfitted with heated and cooled, power-adjusting front leather bucket seats and leather upholstered rear seats that fold up in a 60\/40 configuration to provide a completely flat load floor. Features like adaptive cruise control and collision warnings, a twin panel moonroof, a reverse sensing system, and a keypad entry system all mean that this F-150 Shelby Edition from Tuscany looks awesome, and is sure to deliver on top performance. We’re so glad we got to check it out at the Chicago Auto Show.<\/p>\n
