New for 2021, select Ford F-150 trucks will come equipped with a Trailer Light Check feature that lets you check your trailer light operation all from your smartphone. This step-by-step guide covers how to check your trailer lights using the new F-150 Trailer Light Check function on your FordPass\u2122 App. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  1. Turn on the vehicle ignition and make sure the transmission is in park.<\/li>
  2. Open the FordPass\u2122 app and login with your username and password.<\/li>
  3. Tap Vehicle, then tap Trailer Light Check.<\/li>
  4. Go to the back of the trailer and press Start.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The vehicle and trailer lights will cycle in sequence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Left turn signal<\/li>
    • Right turn signal<\/li>
    • Brake lights<\/li>
    • Reverse lights (if equipped)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
