This guide covers how to set up your 2021 Ford F-150 to send Trailer Theft Alerts to your smartphone via the FordPass\u2122 app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

To receive Trailer Theft Alerts on your mobile phone, you’ll need to download the FordPass\u2122 app, enable notifications, and connect your vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trailer Connection Alarm and Trailer Theft Alert features will automatically set whenever:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Your vehicle detects the trailer.<\/li>
  2. Your vehicle is locked.<\/li>
  3. The anti-theft alarm is armed.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    When the trailer is disconnected in this state, the vehicle alarm sounds and an alert is sent to your FordPass\u2122 app.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
