The Ford Performance team planned and built every aspect of the Bronco DR. This helps the Bronco weather days of torture through brutal terrain in the high temperatures of the SCORE Baja 1000. This event is in Baja, California, Mexico, with the Bronco brand\u2019s Built Wild\u2122 capabilities and durability at its heart.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Capability And Durability Features of the Ford Bronco DR<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While official specs will be available closer to the on-sale date, the Bronco DR comes with a comprehensive list of desert racing technology. Multimatic, a long-time Ford Performance collaborator, has improved the Bronco’s High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) system. Positional Selective DSSV Dampers with 80-millimeter bodies and finned fluid cooling channels help achieve this. Lower control arms made of billet aluminum developed by Multimatic are also available. Bronco DR targets 55.1 percent more front suspension travel, at 15.8 inches, and 58.6 percent more rear suspension travel, at 17.4 inches, than a four-door Badlands\u2122 series Bronco for extraordinary capabilities across practically any terrain.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bronco DR has an approach angle of 47 degrees, a departure angle of 37 degrees, and a racing weight of 6200 lbs. And it has a break-over angle of 33 degrees, allowing it to take on even the most challenging roads. Firm footing is provided with a 73.7-inch front track and a 73.3-inch rear track.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
