It is currently in its fourth generation, which was introduced for the 2020 model year. The Escape is known for its versatility, fuel efficiency, and advanced technology features. It is available with a variety of engine options, including a 1.5L EcoBoost, a 2.0L EcoBoost, and a 2.5L iVCT. All models come with front-wheel drive as standard, but all-wheel drive is available as an option. The Escape also offers a range of safety and driver assistance technologies, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeps assist, and automatic emergency braking. The most noticeable changes are on the front end, where Ford has moved the blue oval logo directly to the center of the grille instead of above. This change makes Escape&#8217;s design more in line with Ford models like the Mustang and Explorer. The ST-Line Elite and ST-Line Select are two new trim levels debuting in 2023.
