Performance and Efficiency of the 2023 Ford Maverick<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ford’s choice of a standard hybrid powertrain for the Maverick caught us off guard. A 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine, a 1.1 kWh battery, an electric motor, and a CVT transmission are combined to provide 191 horsepower and 155 lb.-ft of torque, which are sent to the front wheels. The Maverick hybrid’s 42\/33 mpg city\/highway fuel economy is the best of any pickup truck now available. Ford now provides the Maverick with a 2.0-liter turbo-four for individuals who want additional power and AWD. Along with the FX4 off-road package and the 4K tow package, its engine is also available with FWD or AWD. The turbo-four replaces the hybrid’s CVT, which has an eight-speed conventional automatic and produces 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft of torque.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
