<\/p>\nThe 2017 Ford Mustang GT is a car that can definitely hold its own on the streets and on the tracks. But if you\u2019re looking to get even more out of your sports car, several new 2017 Ford Mustang GT added performance packages will now be offered. These great Power Packs will push the performance of this already great sports car to the limit.<\/p>\n
The Power Packs Ford is offering are compatible with Mustang GT models from the model years 2015 to 2017. The first package is able to add 13 horsepower to the car\u2019s total output by including features like a K&N high-flow air filter. In addition to the horsepower bump, the torque rating on the car increases by 40 pound-feet.<\/p>\n
The second Power Pack borrows several features from the Mustang\u2019s performance-oriented variation, the Shelby GT350. This package adds a total of 21 horsepower to the car through a cold-air intake and an 87-mm throttle body. The final Power Pack is able to increase the horsepower rating by 37 by adding the GT350\u2019s intake manifold along with all of the previously mentioned features.<\/p>\n
The packages will be available during the late summer and early fall of 2016.<\/p>\n
