The 2017 Ford Focus RS<\/a> comes equipped with the new Ford Performance<\/a> All-Wheel Drive system with Dynamic Torque Vectoring. These two technologies give drivers complete control over the car. Ford\u2019s Performance All-Wheel Drive system can direct up to 70 percent of the engine\u2019s power to the car\u2019s rear wheels, and 100 percent of power to either side, dependent on the situation. The adaptability of the system helps maximize the hatchback\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

2017 Ford Focus RS Engine Power<\/h3>\n

The power source the Ford Performance All-Wheel Drive system will be working with is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. This turbocharged engine is able to deliver an impressive 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.<\/p>\n

In addition to the all-wheel drive system, the Focus RS comes equipped with several other features that add to the car\u2019s performance. An electric steering system works with two-mode tampers and a front knuckle suspension design to give the new Focus RS unprecedented cornering capabilities. The Focus RS also includes a \u201cdrift mode\u201d that allows for controlled oversteer when activated.<\/p>\n

The interior of the new Focus RS will ensure everyone stays comfortable. Ford equips the car with RECARO sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, metal pedals along with RS-themed seat stitching, floor mats and steering wheel.<\/p>\n
