EcoBoost Mustang Added Performance Packages<\/h3>\n

Ford will now be offering a special performance package<\/a> that is available on Mustang EcoBoost models from the 2015 model year or newer. The Ford Performance Mustang EcoBoost calibration kit adds even more capabilities to the already impressive 300 plus horsepower ratings delivered by the sports car\u2019s turbocharged engine.<\/p>\n

When equipped with the performance kit, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine<\/a> will deliver 335 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. This is 25 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque more than the standard output on the Mustang EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium.<\/p>\n

Ford Mustang EcoBoost Fuel Economy Ratings<\/h3>\n

The Ford Mustang EcoBoost sets out to change the expectations of the sports car class. By choosing to turbocharge a smaller four-cylinder engine, the Mustang EcoBoost still delivers impressive horsepower ratings, but also offers practical fuel economy estimates. 2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost models are able to earn an estimated 22 miles per gallon the cities and 31 miles per gallon on the highways. These are very impressive numbers for a sports car that breaks the 300 horsepower mark.<\/p>\n
