Mustang fans looking for a version of the iconic sports car that is able to push performance to the limit need not look any further than the Shelby Mustang GT350. But is the 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 offered in more than one trim level<\/a>?<\/p>\n

2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 Base Trim Level<\/h3>\n

The 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 is available in two trim levels. The base GT350 is anything but standard. This sports car comes equipped with 19-inch wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, heavy duty springs, Brembo brakes, a Torsen rear differential, front suspension tower brace, oil, differential and transmission powertrain coolers, adjustable drive settings, xenon headlights, a rear spoiler, keyless ignition and entry and Recaro front seats. Technology systems on the base model include a rearview camera, six-speaker sound system and USB and Bluetooth connectivity.<\/p>\n

The base Shelby Mustang GT350 can also be equipped with the added Electronics package. This package includes dual-zone automatic climate control, the 8-inch touchscreen SYNC 3 infotainment system, nine-speaker sound system, satellite radio and two USB ports. The available Convenience package brings with it leather upholstery and heated and ventilated front seats.<\/p>\n

Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R Added Racing Features<\/h3>\n

The second trim level offered on the Shelby Mustang optimizes the car for track racing conditions. The 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R adds 19-inch carbon-fiber wheels<\/a>, Michelin performance tires, specialized rear suspension tuning and exterior aerodynamic enhancements. In order to eliminate unnecessary weight, the GT350R removes the car\u2019s floor mats, air-conditioning, sound system, rear seats, rearview camera and infotainment system. The available R-Electronics package returns many of these features to the car, also adding dual-zone climate control and the touchscreen SYNC 3 infotainment system.<\/p>\n

Both Shelby Mustang GT350 trim levels come equipped with a 5.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque.<\/p>\n
