Ford has released information the new 2018 Explorer and, wow, does it have us here at Akins Ford near Atlanta, GA, excited. Updates for the 2018 Ford Explorer include new front and rear stylings complete with a new grille. The new Ford Explorer will also feature a comprehensive suite of advanced new safety, technology, comfort and convenience features, such as an available embedded modem featuring a Wi-Fi hotspot capable of supporting as many as 10 devices at once up to 50 feet away from the new Explorer. You\u2019ll also be able to customize your new Ford Explorer more than ever before since it offers the choice between three engines, along with more exterior colors than ever before and much more. Like we said earlier, the 2018 Ford Explorer offers you the choice between three powerful and efficient engines. Its 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine provides 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Higher trim levels like the 2018 Explorer Sport and 2018 Explorer Platinum feature a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine capable of pumping out 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which can give you 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.<\/p>\n

Customization options abound for the 2018 Ford Explorer. We mentioned that the new Ford Explorer<\/a> will offer more exterior color options than ever before.
