The 2018 Ford F-150<\/a> is more powerful and fuel efficient than the 2017 Ford F-150<\/a> thanks to three updated and enhanced engine options. One of those engines is the smaller and more efficient 3.3-liter V6 engine complete with new dual port and direct-injection technology. This new engine is far more powerful and efficient than the old 3.5-liter V6 engine. More specifically, it provides 290 horsepower \u2013 8 more than the old engine \u2013 and 265 pound-feet of torque \u2013 12 more than the old engine. The all-new second-generation 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine is also better than ever, providing 400 pound-feet of torque, or 25 more than 2017. Lastly, the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine has been updated to provide 395 horsepower \u2013 10 more than 2017 \u2013 and 400 pound-feet of torque \u2013 13 more than 2017.<\/p>\n

In fact, its new 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine offers more horsepower and torque throughout the entire 2018 Expedition lineup. The 2018 Expedition XL, XLT and Limited get 375 horsepower \u2013 10 more than 2017 \u2013 and 470 pound-feet of torque \u2013 50 more than 2017. The 2018 Ford Expedition Platinum gets 400 horsepower \u2013 35 more than 2017 \u2013 and 480 pound-feet of torque \u2013 60 more than 2017.<\/p>\n
