New Quiet Exhaust Feature for 2018 Ford Mustang GT<\/h2>\n

Knowing that, and wanting to be good neighbors, the engineers at Ford came up with a solution that allows you to enjoy the sound of your 2018 Mustang GT engine when the time is right, while keeping things quiet when it\u2019s time to respect your neighbors. In fact, they\u2019ve created a new quiet exhaust feature for the 2018 Ford Mustang GT, which is as impressive as it is quiet.<\/p>\n

What is the New 2018 Ford Mustang GT Quiet Exhaust Feature?<\/h3>\n

Playfully known as \u201cGood Neighbor Mode,\u201d you can now program your properly equipped 2018 Ford Mustang GT to keep engine noise low when the situation calls for it. You can even program quiet start-up times for your new Ford Mustang GT<\/a> in advance so you\u2019ll never have to worry about angering your neighbors or family with a loud engine ever again. All of this is possible because of the new Quiet Exhaust feature and the industry-first Quiet Start feature, both of which are part of the available active valve performance exhaust system for the 2018 Ford Mustang lineup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cActive valve performance exhaust gives Mustang owners the best of both worlds \u2013 that classic Mustang sound, and the ability to not wake up your neighbors when you leave the house early in the morning or arrive home late at night. When sounds get up into the upper-70-decibel range, that\u2019s typically about when they start to bother people.
