Ford Evasive Steering Technology<\/h3>\n

Ford\u2019s evasive steering assist system utilizes a radar and camera to detect if the Ford model is approaching slow-moving or stationary vehicles. The car then provides steering support that helps the driver avoid the approaching vehicle if a collision is imminent. The evasive steering system will only be activated if there is not a sufficient amount of space to stop.<\/p>\n

Ford Safety Technology Systems<\/h3>\n

The evasive steering assist system is just the latest advanced safety technology Ford has developed. Ford models can currently be equipped with systems like adaptive cruise control with brake priming, rear cross-traffic alerts, blind-spot monitoring and lane-departure warnings. Both rearview and surround view cameras are offered on the Ford lineup.<\/p>\n
