2015 Chrysler 200 vs 2016 Chrysler 200<\/h2>\n

A new model year brings new model advances. While the 2015 Chrysler 200<\/a> sedan received a full redesign in 2015 that gave it an elegant new style and a more powerful powertrain, progress never stops and the 2016 edition is already pushing the envelope for style, safety, and infotainment features. With both the 2016 and 2015 Chrysler 200 currently available at Akins Ford<\/a>, we wanted to do a quick rundown of the changes for the new model year to this elegant midsize sedan.<\/p>\n

More available\u00a0safety and performance features<\/h3>\n

Excellent safety options now exist for various trim levels. A rearview camera is now standard on all but the base model, and blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alerts are available on Limited models and up. The V6 engine will also be available now on Limited models.<\/p>\n

Improved interior additions<\/h3>\n

The front seats for driver<\/a> and passengers have been firmed up to offer more back support, and a heated steering wheel is now standard on the C trim.<\/p>\n

Uconnect enhancements<\/h3>\n

On models equipped with the 8.4-inch touchscreen, drivers will be able to take advantage of new advancements in the Uconnect interface which include a new drag-and-drop menu bar, Siri Eyes Free, and a specialized Do Not Disturb function which allows drivers to turn off calls and text message notifications while driving.<\/p>\n

New exterior colors<\/h3>\n

The 200 gets three new exterior paint choices for the coming year. Buyers will now have the option of Deep Forest Green, Maximum Steel, and Redline Red Pearl, in addition to the carried-over Velvet Red, Vivid Blue, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Black, Bright White, and Phantom Black.<\/p>\n

90th Anniversary Package<\/h3>\n

In honor of Chrysler’s 90th Anniversary this year, a special package is available with a 8.4-in. touchscreen with a Chrysler Anniversary screen saver, a year of SiriusXM Radio, a sunroof, body-color power heated mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel, powered eight-way driver adjustable chair with four way lumbar support, lit vanity mirrors and specialize Chrysler Anniversary floor mats.<\/p>\n
