Technology & Convenience Features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Among the new features found in the 2020 Ford Escape <\/a>is a 575-watt 10-speaker B&O sound system<\/strong>. The new audio setup replaces the 390-watt Sony system found on the model’s previous generation. Nestled in the front center console, an available wireless charging pad<\/strong> now keeps you at full charge as you barrel down the road. Drivers can now also opt for the new 12.3-Inch All-Digital Instrument Cluster<\/strong> for a seriously high-tech setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s more, the 2020 Escape Titanium becomes the first Ford in North America to feature the all-new Heads Up Display<\/strong>. The 6-inch display is projected right on the lower edge of the windshield, offering important driving information at a glance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driver Assistance Features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A new selectable drive mode system<\/strong> joins the standard features list in the 2020 Ford Escape. Drivers choose from four modes, inluding normal, eco, sport\/slippery and snow\/sand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several advanced active safety features found in the Safe and Smart Package on the 2019 Escape become standard on the 2020 model. That means even the base-level Escape S will come equipped with automatic high beams, blind-spot detection, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A more advanced parking assist system makes its debut on the 2020 Escape roster as well. Called Active Park Assist 2.0<\/strong>, the new system allows drivers to park in a parallel or perpendicular spot with the touch of a button. In fact, it\u2019s the first system in its class that doesn\u2019t require the driver to work the steering wheel, gear shifter, gas or brake pedal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2020 Escape is also the first in its class to feature Evasive Steering Assist<\/strong>, which detects when a vehicle ahead has braked quickly or stopped and provides steering support to help avoid collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
