It\u2019s thanks to that unique blend of technologies that EcoBoost\u00ae engines are able to balance impressive ratings in both engine performance and fuel efficiency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Does EcoBoost\u00ae Save Gas? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By using direct injection, EcoBoost\u00ae engines cut out the intact tract portion of the fuel injection process, which in turn helps to improve fuel efficiency. According to Ford, EcoBoost\u00ae engines are capable of achieving 30% better fuel efficiency ratings while giving off 15% fewer greenhouse emissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Does EcoBoost\u00ae Make Your Car Go Faster?  <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>EcoBoost\u00ae engines are designed to deliver power ratings on par with those of much larger naturally aspirated engines. This is because turbocharged engines can force in more air into the combustion chamber than a normal engine would receive.
