The new 2021 Ford F-150 receives a bumper-to-bumper redesign in which every single body panel has been altered, resulting in a look that’s fresh but oh so familiar. Giving it a good walk around, you\u2019ll notice restyled headlamps, a new power dome hood and wrap-around bumpers, higher front fenders, a tucked-in midsection, and larger-diameter tires pulled out three-quarters of an inch create a more menacing stance. The Ford F-150 is known to offer a long roster of engine choices for drivers to choose from, but for 2021 we see the F-series full-size suitor like never before with a new 3.5-liter PowerBoost\u00ae Full Hybrid V6. What is PowerBoost? Essentially, it\u2019s a 3.5-liter EcoBoost\u00ae V6 matched with a 10-speed SelectShift\u00ae automatic transmission with a 35-kilowatt (47-horsepower) electric motor integrated into the transmission. This bad boy targets an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 700 miles on one tank of gas and is poised to deliver at least 12,000 lbs. of available maximum towing. The new powertrain joins an impressive list of engine options returning from the previous generation like the 3.3-liter V6, 2.7-liter EcoBoost\u00ae V6, 5.0-liter V8, 3.5-liter EcoBoost\u00ae V6, and a 3.0-liter Diesel V6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
