There are a few major differences between the 2018 Ford Focus SE Sedan and 2018 Ford Focus SE Hatchback, not the least of which is the engine you’re getting under your hood. The 2018 Focus SE Sedan features a 1.0-liter EcoBoost I-3 engine capable of offering up to 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque while getting up to 30 miles per gallon in the city and 42 miles per gallon on the highway. The 2018 Focus SE Hatchback features a 2.0-liter Ti-VCT GDI I-4 engine capable of offering up to 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque while getting up to 27 miles per gallon in the city and 40 miles per gallon on the highway.
Inside, both the 2018 Focus SE Sedan and 2018 Focus SE Hatchback provide 90 cubic-feet of passenger space. The cargo capacity of the two models differs, however.
