Listing the Advantages the 2019 Ford Expedition Lineup Holds Over the 2019 Chevy Suburban Lineup
We pointed to three important categories in our introduction – power, gas mileage, and interior space – and the 2019 Ford Expedition lineup holds advantages over the 2019 Chevy Suburban lineup in all three.
Starting with power, the 2019 Expedition lineup offers higher standard power ratings and more available torque. The 2019 Suburban lineup does offer slightly more available horsepower, but as we just mentioned, loses the available torque battle.
Surprisingly, given its power numbers, the 2019 Ford Expedition lineup also holds an advantage in terms of gas mileage. As we point out in our comparison table above, the 2019 Expedition lineup features higher gas mileage ratings than the 2019 Suburban lineup. What’s not shown, however, is that the 2019 Expedition lineup also features higher available gas mileage ratings than the 2019 Suburban lineup.
Which brings us to interior space, where the 2019 Ford Expedition once again holds a distinct advantage. That’s because the 2019 Expedition lineup features 171.9 cubic-feet of passenger space while the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban lineup features only 122.4 cubic-feet of passenger space.
