If you’re looking the convenience of a hatchback model, you’ll want to steer yourself towards the Ford Fiesta. If you’re looking for power, Ford is your go-to. With this in mind, it’s no surprise Ford decided to trick out this seemingly laid-back model with a Sport trim. Equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine, the Fiesta ST boasts best-in-class 197 horsepower along with 202 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine even comes with an “overboost” feature that can extend peak torque for up to 16 seconds. Restricted to one engine option across the entire lineup, the Kia Forte tops out with a laughable 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Kia Forte doesn’t have much to offer for interior flare either. As you move up the trim lineup, the Ford Fiesta gains ambient lighting, HD Radio technology and an in-floor cargo area storage compartment. Available features on the Fiesta include Recaro partial leather-trimmed sport seats, heated sideview mirrors, all-weather floor mats and a keyless entry keypad. The Forte fails to provide any of these features in its lineup.
