Updates and Enhancements of the 2020 Ford Mustang Lineup

Headlining the list of updates, a new Mustang High Performance Package ingeniously matches the Mustang EcoBoost with a high-revving 2.3-liter turbo adapted from the legendary Focus RS. The Mustang EcoBoost’s new power source cranks out 330 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful four-cylinder sports car built by an American automaker. The package also inherits aero, suspension and brake components from the Mustang GT Performance Package, along with special performance tuning.

For some extra oomph, the High Performance Handling Package tops it all off with MagneRide® dampers, wider 19x9.5-inch rims, high-performing 265/40R Pirelli P Zero™ Corsa4 summer tires, stiffer sway bars and a TORSEN 3.35:1 limited-slip rear end.

Also new for 2020, FordPass Connect™ now joins the standard features roster on all Mustang models. The intuitive system allows owners to interact with their vehicle using their smartphone. Through the FordPass Connect app, Ford owners can check their vehicle’s status, lock/unlock doors and track down their vehicle remotely. For automatic transmission-equipped Mustangs, the system even offers remote start.
