All models in the F-series Super Duty lineup see a new front-end design that offers enhanced cooling while handling heavy loads. The line gains a bolder design all-around with a restyled rear bumper, rear taillights and LED headlights.

2020 Ford Super Duty Power and Capability Updates

Carried over from the 2019 lineup, the standard 6.2-liter V8 returns offering robust strength at 385 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque. Joining that base-level V8, Ford launches the lineup with two new engine offerings. Available on all trim levels, the new 7.3-liter V8 delivers enough power and capability for heavy-duty commercial applications. Topping the lineup, an upgraded third-generation 6.7-liter Power Stroke Diesel V8 features an enhanced design, promising notably more horsepower and torque than that of the previous generation.

Also new for 2020 is an all-new heavy-duty 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission. The advanced transmission offers enhanced shift performance, efficiency and torque production while reducing emissions and vehicle wear and tear.

Maneuvering a trailer in reverse can be a tricky task for even the most experienced drivers. New to the F-series Super Duty, a class-exclusive Pro Trailer Backup Assist system makes sliding into the tightest spaces a breeze. With hands off the wheel, drivers use a knob located in the center stack to steer the trailer via the reverse camera. The system uses that input to maneuver the wheel accordingly.

Updated for 2020, the Super Duty lineup’s Trailer Reverse Guidance system is now compatible with fifth-wheel and gooseneck trailers as well. The system displays trailer angle and direction, offering steering suggestions along the way.
