Customers may choose from five trim levels for the 2021 Expedition: XL, XLT, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum. Although performance and features vary by model, every 2021 Expedition comes standard with an in-vehicle Wi-Fi for 10 devices and the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assist features. This suite includes features like a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assistance, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera with grid lines. Some of the Expedition's higher specification options include leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, massaging seats, and heated/ventilated front seats.
The most powerful model in the Expedition lineup is the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost® V6, which produces 375 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. The Expedition Platinum is the top-of-the-line model, with up to 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. In any event, even for a full-size SUV, they are impressive numbers. On these parameters, even the V8-powered Chevy Suburban can't compete.
