Immediately after Tesla unveiled the Model Y, Ford chimed in with a tweet that marked the beginning of a new saga. A lightning-blue Mustang emblem captioned “Hold your horses” hinted that a new performance-oriented EV was in the pipeline. It was no bluff – the All-New 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E has proven to be the Tesla Model Y’s most promising competitor to date. Unlike EVs of Ford past, the All-New Mustang Mach-E was designed from the ground up as an electric car. You can keep reading to discover what makes the Mach-E a force to be reckoned with.

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E isn’t just the product of innovation. It drives it with a full suite of impressive features designed to assist, engage, and impress. Just a few highlights found on board include:
The standard Ford Co-Pilot360™ 2.0 package features Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System, Auto High Beams, Reverse Brake Assist, Reverse Sensing System, and Post-Collision Braking. The one thing currently missing on the Mach-E is a semi-automated driving feature, but that’s already on the way. Ford’s first Active Drive Assist feature will launch as an over-the-air update in the third quarter of 2021, meaning those who buy the Mach-E early can still be among the first to get it.
