Ford Has Three of the Hottest Vehicles at SEMA

We’ve mentioned in the past that Ford was showing some great cars, trucks, and SUVS at the SEMA Show 2015, but we have even better news now! The Ford Mustang, Ford Focus and Ford F-series were named the Hottest Sport-Compact, Hottest Car, and Hottest Truck at SEMA 2015. Keep reading for details and pictures.

Ford at SEMA 2015

First off it has to be said that Ford has the largest presence of any of the major vehicle manufacturers, with 28 vehicles featured on the Ford stand, and a total of almost 50 when you add in the vehicles on the Ford Out Front demo track. Ford also features more aftermarket accessories than any other brand, meaning that each for vehicle, from serious Ford F-150 trucks to the performance-oriented Mustang, can be designed just the way their owners want.

What is the Hottest Car Award?

The title of the “Hottest” at SEMA means that a manufacture’s vehicle is one of the most popular platforms for aftermarket modifications. The Ford win this year with the Ford Mustang, Ford Focus, and Ford F-series is the first time any manufacturer has won three of these awards.

“Winning SEMA’s hottest vehicle awards for Mustang, Focus and F-Series is a great affirmation of the popularity of Ford vehicles with this trendsetting part of the market,” said Dave Pericak, director of Ford Performance, in a recent Ford press release. “We’re proud the aftermarket has embraced these three vehicles with as much enthusiasm as our customers invest to personalize their Mustang, Focus and F-Series.”
