That’s because the new Ford Edge lineup has an engine for everyone, whether you want more power, better gas mileage or a little of each. The standard engine for the 2018 Edge SE, SEL and Titanium models is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine that provides you with up to 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, and gets you up to 21 city MPG and up to 29 highway MPG. We should also note that when you get this engine and front-wheel drive on a new Ford Edge SE, you’ll also get Auto Start-Stop technology. The standard engine for a new Ford Edge Sport is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that provides you with up to 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and gets you up to 17 city MPG and up to 24 highway MPG. All 2018 Ford Edge models can also feature the available 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine that can provide you with up to 280 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, and get you up to 17 city MPG and up to 26 highway MPG.
