What Trim Levels are Available for the New Ford Edge Lineup?

As we mentioned, the 2018 Ford Edge lineup lets you choose between four trim levels. Namely, you can purchase a 2018 Ford Edge SE, a 2018 Ford Edge SEL, a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium or a 2018 Ford Edge Sport. And we’ve got them all right here at Akins Ford near Atlanta, GA.

How the New Ford Edge Trim Levels Differ from One Another

One of the biggest differences you’ll notice when you go from one new Ford Edge trim level to the next is the engine that comes standard. The standard engine for new Ford Edge SE, SEL and Titanium models is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine that provides you with 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, and gets you 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. The caveat here is that if you purchase a 2018 Edge SE with front-wheel drive, you also get Auto Start-Stop technology for your powertrain. The standard engine for new Ford Edge Sport models is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that provides you with 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and gets you 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.

Are There Any Differences Besides the Engines?

The short answer to this question is yes. The slightly longer answer is that 2018 Ford Edge SE models are the only trim level to feature standard 18-inch Sparkle Silver-painted aluminum wheels. Another example is that new Edge SEL models are the only trim level with an available Sport Appearance Package.
