From the base level, the 2020 Ford Explorer comes standard with a Unique Cloth seat trim available in colors Ebony and Sandstone. Second-row captain’s chairs are also standard, though drivers can opt for a second-row bench seat on any model.

ActiveX™ Seating Material
ActiveX™ is a resilient partial-leather material designed for enhanced comfort and durability. The hybrid material offers a cost-effective alternative to genuine Leather with comparable easy-to-clean convinience and upscale looks. On the Ford Explorer, ActiveX™-trimmed seats are optional on XLT models exclusively and are available in colors Ebony and Sandstone.
