How spacious is the new Bronco? To answer this question, we need to take a look at what sets the Bronco 2-door apart from the Bronco 4-door. (This seems like a no-brainer, but bear with us here.) Aside from the painfully obvious extra set of doors, the 4-door model is actually wider in the backseat, allowing for 5 seats in all. The Bronco 2-door offers seating for up to four only. Plus, the Bronco 4-door has 4.7 inches more rear shoulder room and 1.5 inches more rear hip room than the 2-door alternative.

How much cabin space you get also depends on your Bronco’s roof style. When equipped with the standard hardtop, the 2021 Ford Bronco will feature a passenger volume of 99.0 cubic feet in the 2-door model, or 103.7 cubic feet when you opt for the 4-door version. The Bronco 4-door can also be equipped with an optional soft top, which allows for some extra head space in both rows. This makes the soft-top Bronco the most spacious configuration of all, offering a total passenger volume of 108.2 cubic feet. Check out the table provided below for a more in-depth dive into the Bronco’s head-, shoulder-, hip-, and leg-room dimensions.

Cargo Space in the New Ford Bronco

How much cargo space you get will also vary greatly between the two models. The Bronco 2-door SUV offers up to 23.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the backseat, or 52.3 cubic feet with the rear seats down. The Bronco 4-door configuration opens up 35.6 cubic feet of cargo space – enough space to stow away all four removable doors – or up to 77.6 cubic feet of space with those seats folded.
