Atlanta’s most famous 4th of July fireworks show is happening once again this year, with the 4th of July Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park taking place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, beginning at 6 p.m. In addition to a fireworks show that starts around 9:45 p.m., there will be live music and food. If you’re planning on going, you’re encouraged to park in the Red Deck located on Andrew Young International Boulevard, next to the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome. You can also ride MARTA, and get off at either the Peachtree Center Station or the Dome/Phillips/GWCC Station.
Downtown East Point 2017 Independence Day Hometown Celebration
The oldest and largest Fourth of July celebration in South Fulton County is taking place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, beginning at 3 p.m. Located in the heart of Downtown East Point, the 2017 Independence Day Hometown Celebration features live music, vendors, tons of different food and drink and, of course, a fireworks show scheduled for around 9:30 p.m.
Dunwoody 4th of July Parade
If you’re looking to catch a Fourth of July parade before heading to a fireworks show, you’re going to want to head to Dunwoody for their 4th of July Parade, which begins at 9 a.m. This year’s theme for the parade is “A Small Town in a Big City.” The parade will feature marching bands, floats, clowns, animal units and local celebrities.
