One of the many reasons we love the Ford Fusion lineup so much here at Akins Ford near Atlanta, GA, is its versatility. Honestly, the Ford Fusion lineup is more like three or four sedan lineups in one thanks to its varied trim level offerings that include powerfully efficient gas powertrains, fun to drive V6 powertrains, hybrid powertrains and electric powertrains. And that tradition of versatility is continuing during the 2019 model year, which is what we’re going to go over right here. More specifically, we’re going to check out the gas and hybrid powertrain options for the all-new 2019 Ford Fusion lineup.

Listing the Gas Engine Choices Coming with the All-New Ford Fusion Lineup at Akins Ford near Atlanta GA During the Summer of 2018
Ford is keeping some of the information regarding the all-new 2019 Ford Fusion lineup close to the chest as we get ready for its arrival here at Akins Ford near Atlanta, GA, this summer. But that doesn’t mean we don’t know anything about the all-new 2019 Fusion lineup. For instance, while we may not know what will be under the hood of the all-new 2019 Fusion S, we do know what will be under the hood of the other gas-powered trim levels like the all-new 2019 Fusion SE. Those trim levels get a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, though we don’t know what its horsepower, torque and gas mileage ratings are at this point. Thankfully, we do know all we need to know about the all-new 2019 Fusion V6 Sport’s engine, which is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine that can pump out best-in-class power ratings of 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.

The new Ford Fusion lineup at Akins Ford near Atlanta, GA, will also feature all-new Fusion Hybrid and Energi model options. All-new 2019 Fusion Hybrid models will be powered by a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission, though we don’t yet have specific power and fuel economy numbers that this powertrain either. And all we know about the all-new 2019 Ford Energi Titanium is that its electric-only driving range has been improved by 20 percent.
