Atlanta is kicking December off in a big way with a pair of exciting Christmas parades. The first is the Children’s Christmas Parade, starting at 10 a.m. the morning of Saturday, December 1, 2018. The parade will take place in midtown Atlanta, which will be turned into the winter wonderland known as Santa Claus Lane. Reindog Parade at the Atlanta Botanical Garden

If you don’t want to leave your favorite four-legged friend home while going out to enjoy a Christmas parade, then you’re definitely going to want to hit up the Reindog Parade taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, at the Atlanta Botanical Garden – located at 1345 Piedmont Ave NE. If you do attend this parade, make sure you dress your pooch up so he or she can be entered into the costume contest.

Festival of the SEAson at the Georgia Aquarium

The third exciting holiday 2018 event we’d like to put the spotlight on is going on now through December 31, 2018, at the Georgia Aquarium (225 Baker Street). We’re talking, of course, about the Festival of the SEAson, which turns the aquarium into a holiday festival the whole family will enjoy.
