It’s been an Atlanta, GA, Thanksgiving tradition for over 50 years, and it’s returning once again for 2017. We’re talking about the Macy’s Pink Pig, of course. From its humble beginnings at the downtown Rich’s to its time at the Egelston Children’s Hospital Festival of Trees to its new home at Macy’s Lenox Square, thousands upon thousands of families have enjoyed a ride on the Pink Pig. And now it’s your turn – assuming you’re one of the few who have not yet been able to enjoy the ride. But those of you who haven’t gotten a chance to ride the pig – and those of you who have and are looking for another go – are probably wondering, “Where and when can I ride the Macy’s Pink Pig in 2017?” Well, we’ve got the answers you’re looking for right here.

2017 Macy’s Pink Pig Date, Time and Location Information

The 2017 Macy’s Pink Pig is already in full swing, but don’t worry, you still have plenty of opportunities to get a ride or two in before it shuts down for the season. In fact, the Macy’s Pink Pig will be operating daily until Sunday, December 31. For the most part, the ride is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., though those hours do vary occasionally, so make sure you click the link (or call either 404-231-2796 or 404-231-2959) to ensure it’s running when you’re planning to go. It’s also important to note that the Pink Pig will be closed on Sunday, November 19, Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23) and Christmas Day (Monday, December 25). As for its specific location, the Macy’s Pink Pig is located in the Lenox Square Mall upper level parking deck at 3393 Peachtree Road NE. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Pink Pig will go to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
