2016 Ford Mustang Black

DETAILS RELEASED: Unofficial, but still exciting

2016 Ford Mustang colors

It’s always fun to take a look at the latest and greatest releases, and the fun continues with the 2016 Ford Mustang. Although, as of now, details have not been officially confirmed by Ford about the 2016 Mustang, but there is a lot of speculation that there are going to be some exciting new 2016 Ford Mustang colors, or at least a new trim or two!

The 2015 Ford Mustang was completely remodeled, so we’re guessing that there won’t be too many changes as far as the actual construction and what goes on under the hood, but we do think that with each model year, slight changes are made. In this case, the 2016 Ford Mustang colors may include some exciting options.

For example, rumors are that the 2016 Mustang is drawing on inspiration from the retro 1967 model year Mustang with incorporated hood-vent turn signals. These will likely be only included in the 2016 Ford Mustang GTs, although that shouldn’t be a deterrent from considering other models or trims of the 2016 Mustang, because, let’s be honest. No matter what kind of Mustang you get, it will be great.

New trims and colors

The two new trims available with the 2016 Ford Mustang will titled the California Special and the Pony package. These two new trims will not contain any new colors for the 2016 model year, but there will be new available racing stripes and wheel colors to allow drivers to better customize their vehicle.

The new wheel package shows off the 19-inch all-black wheels and the black or silver available racing stripes make it an excitingly customizable vehicle. There is also an available all-black roof that will be available on EcoBoost-equipped Mustangs, as well as the GT. The 2016 Ford Mustang colors are expected to remain the same as the 2015 available colors, which includes: yellow, dark gray, blue, silver, red, black, white, lighter gray, dark red and orange.

However, it is important to note that that steely-blue color that you will see on a number of the photos of prototypes will NOT be available.
