What Can the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Tow?

Generally speaking, those capacities should be lofty enough to carry a small trailer or an aluminum fishing boat. We always recommend checking and double checking your vehicle’s model-specific trailer weight capacity and the weight of your trailer before attempting to tow anything.

What Towing Features are Offered on the Bronco Sport?

The Class II Trailer Tow Package includes a Trailer Sway Control feature that detects trailer sway (or “snaking”) and automatically reduces your vehicle’s speed to help correct the issue. The system works by reducing the engine’s torque and very subtly increasing the brake pressure on all wheels.

Why Can Some Models Tow More than Others?

Badlands models can tow more weight because they get upgraded to a stronger 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine. The standard engine offered on the Big Bend and Outer Banks models trades a bit of power for efficiency with up to 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
