This layout features two 1st-row bucket seats, two 2nd-row bucket seats, and a 3rd-row bench seat that accommodates an additional 2 passengers. The exception is the Explorer Base model, which trades the 2nd-row bucket seats for a 2nd-row bench that holds 3 occupants and brings the SUV’s total seating capacity to 7 passengers. The 2nd-row bench seat can also be optioned onto all the other trim levels that are available.
