What is SiriusXM®?
SiriusXM® offers over 150 different channels of all sorts of entertainment at the press of just one button. All the new Ford vehicles equipped with SiriusXM® come with a pre-activated three months all-access trial subscription. It gives you a plethora of features like enjoying news while on the go and from the comfort of your home using the mobile application.
Using SiriusXM® with SYNC® 3
SYNC® 3 allows you to access various SiriusXM® channels with voice commands as well as using the touchscreen.
- To access SiriusXM® press the voice button on your steering wheel and say “Sirius”
- For browsing channels, press the voice button and say “Browse Sirius Channel Guide”
- To start listening to a particular channel, press the voice button and say the name or number of the SiriusXM® channel.
- You can also assign presets to your favorite radio channel. To save a preset, tune to the desired radio channel, and then press and hold the memory preset button from the menu bar.
- Once the feature is activated, you can play up to 44 minutes of previously played content. To activate replay, just touch the replay button on the screen.
- You can also set alerts for your favorite artists, bands, or songs. A notification will be sent to you whenever that song/artist is playing. To set an alert, touch the alert icon and select enable alerts.
- After that just keep adding songs/artists to the alert as they are playing. And anytime the artist/song will be playing in the future on any of the SiriusXM® channel you will get a notification.
