Georgia Renaissance Festival

If you’ve ever imagined yourself living during the fabled days of yore – or, more specifically, in 16th century England – then you’re definitely going to want to check out the Georgia Renaissance Festival taking place just down the road at 6905 Virlyn B. Smith Road in Fairburn, GA. Happening April 14 through June 3, the Georgia Renaissance Festival features everything you need to see what life was like during medieval times.

Inman Park Festival

If Merry Ole England isn’t your thing and you’re looking for a different kind of spirited and eclectic festival, then you’re going to definitely want to check out the Inman Park Festival, which takes place April 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday). The festival will feature a tour of homes, a parade, live music, a dance festival, an arts and crafts show, a street market, and much more. Chastain Park Arts Festival

While each of the two festivals already mentioned with have some arts and crafts for you to peruse, neither of those arts and crafts offerings can live up to what’s going to be featured at the Chastain Park Arts Festival, located at 4469 Stella Drive right here in Atlanta. Over 185 artists and artisans will grace the festival, along with live music, a children’s area, and gourmet food trucks.
