When Will the Active Drive Assist Update Take Place?

The Active Drive Assist feature will arrive as part of an Over-the-Air update that will take place sometime in the third quarter of 2021.

What 2021 Ford Models Will Gain Active Drive Assist?

Active Drive Assist will be available first on the 2021 Ford F-150 and the all-electric 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The update will only apply to select models.

  • For the 2021 Ford F-150, Active Drive Assist will be standard on the F-150 Limited. It can also be optioned onto the F-150 Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum models as part of the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 package
  • For the 2021 Mustang Mach-E, Active Drive Assist will be standard on CA Route 1, Premium, and First Edition models. It’s also available on the Select trim level as part of the Comfort and Technology package
