Twin-Panel Moonroof Availability by Trim Level

The twin-panel moonroof upgrade is available on XLT, Limited, Limited Hybrid, ST, King Ranch, and Platinum models of the 2021 Ford Explorer lineup and raises the vehicle’s price by $1,695. It is not offered on the Explorer Base. The Explorer Limited, Limited Hybrid, ST, King Ranch, and Platinum models also include a remote-control feature for the moonroof and 1st-row windows.

On the Explorer XLT models, the Twin-Panel Moonroof upgrade requires the addition of Equipment Group 202A, which costs an additional $3,540. This package includes a few upscale enhancements like the ActiveX™-trimmed seats, an 8-way power front-passenger seat, heated steering wheel, silver-painted front and rear skid plate elements, LED fog lamps, and remote start.
